The Inaugural Thrombosis Research Disease in Advanced Disease Alliance Scientific Meeting

This will be a one day conference sutiable for all healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients with advanced malignant and non-malignant disease with venous thromboembolism. It will be of particular interest to multiprofessional teams in the field of haematology, oncology, palliative and primary care

Topics inluded will be:

• Venous thromboembolism in the palliative patient: the challenges
• The management of VTE where the evidence is lacking
• Update on new anticoagulants and their role in palliative care
• Researching thrombosis in vulnerable adult popoulations
• Showcase of on-going palliative care studies
